That means its bill of materials (BOM) is a third as long as comparable spring-powered blasters (looking at you, SBL and Alchemist)—no endless parts lists to stress over. For that minimal effort, you get max upgrades: 

• Track-Based Bearing Prime (Linear Rail, But Cheaper): Ditch the "plastic bearings on metal barrel" norm—Ontos uses metal bearings on a plastic flat track. These metal bearings are smoother, tougher, and cheaper than plastic alternatives; the flat track’s bigger contact area even makes priming feel eerily seamless (prototypes feel like the bearings aren’t rolling at all).
